![]() ![]() The more people register their guns the more complete the database will be and therefore the more accurate the declared manufacture date will be. As an enquirer you put your serial number in and the date of manufacture can only ever be an estimate depending on how close it lies to the nearest already confirmed serial number entry. (The database compiler told me this.) The database therefor relies purely on customers/owners registering their rifles on this database. Weihrauch seemingly would not assist the database compiler when he asked them to share their own factory records for inclusion. The database being Dutch means it has nothing to do with Germany, even if the guns are German. ![]() The database has been compiled by a Dutchman so their descriptions do not always coincide with ours. I suppose it might have been better entitled 'sporting rifle' that we in the British Isles are used to using as an air rifle catagory. I'm guessing that any Weihrauch rifle meant for shooting over the 6 metres disciplines has been termed "long range rifle".
